Two wet sheep
If you have ever been awake at 3 a.m. wondering what sheep do in Orkney in a day long deluge, well, you’ve come to the right place. It has tipped it down all day. Which makes a change from the draught.
Spot, in the rear, is waiting for Bella to go into the shed. Bella is always the leader and has to make all such decisions.
Our wimmin folk always try and keep us apart but today Dougal and myself met (a home fixture for him). He was drinking with the infamous slope. The Bruichladdich and Old Pulteney. Of course they should have been served the other way round. It was one of those times when I am so glad CMC took driving lessons.
Dougal was already in trouble. He’d returned from Dunfermline after visiting his mother. He arrived home with his spouse to find he’d lost the house key. Bad news for him was that she found it later in the ashes of the stove.
Our next fixture is January 9th when we have to take them out for lunch as a penance. Sorry as a pleasure.
