End of 2016

I disappeared for a while because 2016 was getting me down and I just didn't have it in me to take or post any photos. My last photo was the day before my father died, and possibly that has affected me more than I care to admit. Tonight my toothbrush fell into the toilet. I think that means it can't get worse. Trump will be president,  Britain will leave the EU, populist voices are rising and violence is everywhere, but maybe I can find something beautiful to capture each day. My toothbrush in the loo isn't it, but maybe 2017 will yield something more aesthetic. I'll give it a go at any rate.
