Waxing

A return visit to the Guiseley Waxwings was in order given they're sticking around for the moment.

Word has spread and they've become something of a public attraction, and any unwitting shoppers were soon drawn to the spectacle. A count of 82 was being reported as I arrived this morning; the Waxwings are waxing.  If you fancy some luxury birding I can recommend getting a coffee from the adjacent Costa, retiring to one of the outside tables and enjoying the Waxwings a few yards away.

It was difficult to select just one image, but this nicely lit duo has one out. You'll find one feeding on the berries in extras.
