Where's the water?

It was such a lovely crisp sunny winter day that we headed out for a walk at Jenny's Wood this afternoon ....... it was lovely though decidedly chilly!

We spotted this Heron hunting in the middle of the open meadow! Not where we expected to see one ...... it did actually manage to catch something ..... but it was too far away to see what.

Not the best photo as it is quite heavily cropped ..... but as I've not seen a Heron 'fishing' in a field before ....... it just had to be my Blip! :-)
