Corymbia ficifolia

This is also known as Albany red flowering gum, but in this instance the flowers are the most beautiful coral colour.  Those on our street are quite red, as in yesterday's Blip, but this one is on the nature strip outside the village. Trisharooni and I are on the same page today, just blown away by the blaze of colour these eucalypts put out. These are the reason we have the Rainbow Lorikeets hanging around each morning. We have an exciting couple of weeks ahead.
