Rufus!

Today has been the weirdest of days EVER!

We drove from Edinburgh to York where the 5 of us wandered around the city centre for a little while, while the van got its new window installed. After we returned to the van John our roadie announced he was going to be leaving us as his wife is pregnant. He found out two days ago and wanted him home immediately..

It's a bit of a blow as it put quite a bit of strain on the rest of us but that's life and I think he's done the right thing for his families sake.

We played on the street in York this afternoon although only managed two pieces as it was raining. It was hilarious, as we started to play our second song about 60 Korean kids lines up right around us, all watching out of their camera screens!! We all did a good job of not laughing too much!!!

We then grabbed tea...when John said Cheerio to us all and went on his way!!

This evening we played at the Golden Fleese in York, again another weird one!! The function suite was upstairs and was literally like playing in someone living room!!!! Rivkah accidentally burped in between a song , mr G told a badly translated (making it hilarious) chuck Norris joke... Followed by much abuse of Andy's beard!!!

We have had a rough day, everyone is tired and we're stretching things out to fill in John's positions. If I could see X right now I'd probably break down and cry. It's been a tough tough day...! It can only get better.
