Worthing

After a very late night (2:30am), G woke up with plans to go to Bath and Worthing (yes!); however, she came to her senses and decided to tackle just one of those today, so we phoned up our friend Margaret and asked if she fancied fish and chips by the sea. She said YES!

So, off we went, first to pick her up, then headed down to find the "award winning" fish and chips place we found in the summer. It was such an incredibly beautiful day today - and mild too! 11degC in Worthing. Ate our lunch near Sea Lane Café and then took some pictures of the beach huts, each of us claiming one as theirs. The extras are of G & Margaret claiming theirs.

Got back to Wonersh in time for Tea@3 at the URC church, and ended up practising the songs for the service Margaret will be playing on Sunday. That was fun. And then... when dropping Margaret back home, she invited us in for soup and cheese... Think it was 5pm. We left at 10! A very happy evening and we thoroughly enjoyed the roaring fire that Margaret was able to make. :D

Driving home in icy fog was a different story!
