Magic Kew

Tickets were sold out on the internet, but luckily we were able to buy some directly this morning at Kew Gardens for the seasonal illuminations. So finally we spent quite of the day there.

Already in the morning the atmosphere was quite special and a bit magic, with a mix of frost, sunshine and wafts of mist. The night was cold enough that the ponds were frozen - not the usual sight. We then had a late lunch in Richmond (Jackson + Rye) with a great view towards the Thames and watching the sunset.

Our Kew ticket for the sparkling path was 5.30 p.m., the place quite busy. The highlight definitely the music & laser show in front of the Palm House.
