Temple Newsam

We went down to Leeds station to collect my niece and 6yr old gt-niece this morning. As lunch was being prepared we were entertained with lots of imaginary games and afterwards we were given a brief performance. 

We went for a lovely walk in Temple Newsam this afternoon. The lakes had been frozen and created an interesting scene with the sun on part of them and a cold, misty frost on the other part. My gt-niece enjoyed a short time in the playground too. 

Unfortunately I then had to leave them and return across the Pennines as my holiday had been cut short by a day.
