On the fifth day of Christmas...

My true love gave to me,
Five gol-den sunrises,
Four chinking glasses,
Three Russian Santas,
Two sparring Mummers,
And a Robin in a Japonica tree!

A very early start to the day with my brother and his wife up and about at 4am, heading off to Paris for 24 hours! Last week they "popped" up to The Lakes for the day! I guess when you travel as far and as often as they do, Paris is a mere stone's throw away. Am I envious? I think you know the answer to that...

So a much needed day of rest today; a rest from the hustle and bustle of Christmas, and a rest from all that rich food. But being awake so early did mean that I got to enjoy a beautiful golden sunrise, on a bright frosty morning...
