Full of energy

After a Christmas of excesses of food, laughter and good things I felt full of energy today. The sun shone, we had an early frost and the air was charged with positive vibes so I returned to the workshop. I've seen lots of people wearing pieces I've made, having received them as presents. That warms my cockles! So today I've mended an 18ct gold necklace for a neighbour, made an amber drop and a silver torque, a necklace with two initialled silver tags - and made this silver and opal ring for the girl indoors. The Mintabie opal is from South Australia - and this one's a corker that sparkles every which-way. It's been a very productive day!
