See, we do have castles here in NZ...
......this one is entirely for Irish/Scottish/English blippers.....a castle, namely Larnach Castle on the Otago Penninsular. Here are Ella and Harrywith trees growing from their heads (oops), Janelle (with camera) and Rob. I'd like to have done a link but the iPad doesn't give that option. Build around 1871 by William Larnach, entrepreneur and politician (incidently he committed suicide in Parliament Buldings). Now owned by the Baker family who have done great things to it and the beautiful gardens. It is now totally a tourist destination, they do weddings and events.
What else have we done.....
.....walked Baldwn Street this morning, the steepest street in the world, puff puff.
.....after the castle off to the Albatross colony on Taiaroa Heads via Portobella Pub for tea (also on the Pennisular).
The birds were flying nicely (see extra). Their wing span is 3 metres, we were so lucky to have them flying as sometimes if not windy they are sitting on the hillside chatting to their mates.
I could go on, but I won't, but just to say it's been an awesome day wth lots of memorable experiences.
Really must go to bed.
