Camp Bay
Just a few kilometres past Purau is Camp Bay, one of the inner bays on Banks Peninsula. The farm house can be seen nestled by the beach.
We walked from Camp Bay to beautiful Little Port Cooper, which can be seen in extras. Little Port Cooper was a whaling station in the 1830's. The little building on the foreshore is the old school house. It was built in 1883 and operated as a school until 1949.
