Life with The Pinks

new friends

We've had a busy but fun day today - lots of fun. We've been swimming, with floats and bridges. Katie has demonstrated her swimming skills to us again, she's so going to be in the Olympic squad for team GB. After that we watched the "keeping fit with Rory the Tiger" show. The mini pinks and Katie enjoyed watching Rory, but weren't so inclined to join in with the excercises, preferring to eat rice cakes and fruit stars. But it was very very cute watching Katie and Miss Pink singing and dancing to the wheels on the bus and head, shoulders, knees and toes.
After our exercises with Rory, we caught the bus to Great Yarmouth for some seaside fun. We had a stroll along the pier, ate some hot doughnuts and then had a play on the beach. Katie's mummy had made us a scrummy picnic which we all enjoyed.
Along the beach we found some inflatables and so Master Pink and Katie had a play on those. Miss Pink was feeling a bit grumpy and tired by this point, so we sat and watched the fun instead. Katie was climbing up an inflatable climbing wall like a little mountain climber. She is a clever little Katie.
We walked along the seafront for a while, and found an icecream man, that Master Pink noted for later. And he reminded us, quite a lot. We eventually went back to the ice-cream man, and he did have the most amazing ice creams. I had a double waffle cone, that was dipped in chocolate and hundreds and thousands, with tutti frutti, and raspberry icecream, with nuts on top. It was every bit as yummy as it sounds.
We made it back to the caravan park, with all the three children still awake. Just! We had dinner at one of the caravan parks restaurants, and then had to say our goodbyes. I think the mini pinks have made a lovely new friend in Katie. I know I have a lovely friend in Katie's mummy. What special ladies they are.
