A Compliment

Well, that's it over. The first part of Sigrid and Ulli's wedding (Sigrid being Dr D's wee sister).

Today was the Rathaus event (like the registry office in the UK) in Treuchtlingen, about 45 minutes drive north from here. That's her home town, and where her mum lives. A small gathering of close family and friends.

They're having a big ceremony - humanist, not religious - in May.

We were out of the house at 8.30am and got back just after 18.00. In between, the gathering at Sigrid's mum's house, the ceremony itself, a few glasses of Sekt at the Rathaus, lunch in a restaurant just outside town, and then coffee and cake at Sigrid's mum's.

I have some great shots of the day. However, Dr D is very "anti" social media and I've no idea of the views of the others. I'm not going to take a chance on plastering them all over Blipfoto.

So, I've decided to stick my neck out by Blipping Dr D herself. If it ever becomes an issue, it will be with her and no-one else. It's intended as a compliment anyway.
