Boxing Day Walk

We went....through the alley, across the green, through the churchyard and over the slippery bridge.......

The children took it in turns to hold Russet's lead on the way there and back, and they all ran about when we got to the big field, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine ! F was wearing her new twirly skirt and stripey wellies - there was a fair bit of mud about!!

Then home for the big Boxing Day lunch and various games of Swingball in the afternoon. The children's day ended with everyone watching the BFG together. Granny found the giants a bit scarey, so she was glad to be sitting cozily on the sofa with F and W !!!
