Gone south for the winter

Back to work after the Christmas break and the thought came to mind "Was I the only one?" there was hardly any traffic. Different parts of the city had suffered more than others from the various snow falls and the street outside work was a real skating rink for pedestrians. 
But the birds don't care obviously. They're somewhere in the south enjoying sunshine,
