Stand up if you...

We have been in Edinburgh for a couple of days at The Fringe. In a word, fantastic.

There were lots of highlights but taking the kids to their first ever stand up comedy event was fabulous fun. They ran straight to the front row and heckled...and heckled...and heckled. They had no fear. None whatsoever.

I am kind of glad they never got asked, as many kids were, "do you know any good swear words?" Oscar literally, well almost, split his sides with laughter. That will stay with me forever.

Up and coming comedian Patrick Monahan (centre) was the headline act. He did a great Postman Pat piece.

If you ever get the chance, The Fringe is just brilliant for kids and has a great atmosphere.
