The Black Sheep
I like sheep , they always make me smile and they seem to have great characters. These few are not the prettiest of sheep and tend to look abit grumpy but they came over to have a look at me when I was looking at the birds at Udale Bay. The Black sheep was braver than the others although if you look closely it's getting a nudge from the sheep on it's right.
Lots of birds including a group of Whoopers, wigeon, teal, lapwings, oyster catchers and many more. Saw a long tailed duck when we reached Cromarty. We were hoping the bakers was open but even though it said open and the door was nt locked a sign inside said closed.
It was a surprisingly nice day with lots of sun, the forecast had said cloudy. A beautiful sunrise and sunset.
Watched the film 'The Fox and the child' a lovely film at a gentle pace with wonderful scenery and wildlife shots, set in France but could so easily be in Scotland if they reintroduce wolves and lynx. The main fox in the film had been tamed and died at the age of 12, a grand age for a fox:)
