I got my first bike today since I was a kid. Haven't ridden any bike at all since I was about fifteen.

Anyway I just got on and rode away , you never forget, it's just like riding a bike really.

Managed 15 miles. Not quite managed to master that bum off the saddle and wiggling it in the air business yet and am still using feet on the ground as a braking method occasionally but I'm getting there .

I looked the business though; those padded shorts that made you look like you are wearing a maternity pad, a tight Lycra top ( unnnnnnattractive) and as I couldn't find my bum bag I had to strap Lottie's mini kangaroo ruck sack on my back.

I looked hot to trot; ironic really as I looked EXACTLY like Laura Trott.

Rio 2016 here I come !!
