Wild Wednesday...Goldfinch

I was really thrilled to capture this goldfinch feeding on the seedheads of the verbena......apart from a robin I have occasionally blipped, this is my first wild bird image.  There were two of them actually.....so pleased I hadn't cut down the old stems and tidied the garden as my neighbours would probably like me too!! Thanks to Caileach for hosting the wild Wednesday challenge.
