it's a fascinating and wonderous thing - to watch a flower go from bud to full open blossom - the entire unfurling is an amazing scientific journey - at my age now, i look back - wishing it was something i paid more attention to - when i attended science classes in grade school - for some reason my interest wasn't snagged - maybe it was the teaching approach, maybe it was me being distracted - by other things at the time - i do believe i missed out in some respects - yet the point is i have an interest now - which is always good from a photo perspective because - just lookit this peeking opportunity you get - with this flower

and not one science class needed to help me appreciate it - it's simply the sheer glory of knowing what's going to come next - that, in and of itself, is enough to make for...
