Festive spirit

Today turned into a great day.

Went off delivering some pressie expecting it to take half an hour. First stop - and I was invited along to lunch. Very noisy. loadsa kids and I think there were probably some diners whose pre-xmas catch-up was intersperced with screaming, crying and shouting (and that was just the adults). And the smashing of a glass as we exited was probably the icing on the Xmas cake.

then to the next pressie drop-off. How convenient, I arrived at the very moment the cork popped. excelent.

Back home and within 20 minutes a call from an out-of-towner back in town for the festive season. Within 10 mins we were bonding over a mulled wine and decided to make a night of it.

Ain't Xmas great?
