Black Bellied Whistling Duck

Watering first thing this morning so the plants had enough time to dry out before this evening.
After lunch I went to Martin Mere to try out my new lens.With it being a bank holiday it was very busy.The beauty about the M43 gear is that you don't look like a complete arse walking around with a huge camera and lens.Some of the huge gear is more male jewellery than photography equipment.Canon has done the best marketing job for the jewellery fanatic with the white lenses some of them so big you could count the rings around Saturn with them and yet remarkably being hand held in very low light conditions to photograph the ducks.

The wind has dropped and a frost is forecast for tonight.
