Seeking refuge in calm waters

The recent high winds and stormy seas have sent many sea birds seeking shelter. 

Pittenweem harbour is a great place to spot eider ducks. No sign of any fishermen today but their boats were all tied up and bobbing in unison as the incoming waves splashed against the hulls. Plenty of gulls around but it was the Eider Ducks that I really wanted to see before I came back to Glasgow.
