Kid with a new toy

Had a lie in....back still very seized up....then a slow start soaking up the holiday vibe and catching up on last night's Agatha Christie adaptation. After waffles made in the new gizmo I went for a walk with A-movement and drugs seem to help my back. When we got home N wanted to try out his new skates-reminded me of the sight on Christmas morning of a little boy across the road riding his new bike.
Afterwards settled down with tea and nibbles to more catch up tv and helping A choose bathroom fittings-that's the next home improvement needed (does it never end?!). Very lazy day!
