Late

As I was putting on my boots a neighbour arrived so it was on with the kettle for a coffee followed by a tea before the annual exchange of gifts.
By the time I made the departure point for the drag hunt they were well gone but I managed to track them down by following the trail of injured huntsmen left in their wake and by the sound of the hounds from over the fields. North county Dublin is a labyrinth of lanes so a good smidgen of luck certainly helped me find them mid hunt. The love the pounding of hooves, the baying of hounds and the staccato of camera shutters as another offering is made to the hunting goddess Ouch!!!
I devoured a delicious dinner made by Fluffikens (and even ate my veg!!) before enjoying coffee, Baileys and a film before heading home. What a lovely way to spend St Stephen's Day.....just saying
