Three British Icons

Took Matilda (& MrsS) to Biggin Hill for a coffee at the Lookout. It's a little coffee shop overlooking the end of the runway. Couldn't resists stopping for a photo call with the Spitfire and Hurricane outside the RAF Chapel.

Used my Samsung S7 with the strong low sun behind them. Needed some fiddling in Lightroom, Viveca 2 and On1 to rescue the image. 

In other news: At 8:30am this morning the council arrived to remove all the excess rubbish dumped next to the recycle bins (see yesterday's Blip). By 11am when the bins themselves were emptied by the recycle company the pile of litter was the same as before. This area will have their paper recycle bins emptied by the end of the week so why dump it here? Some people are utter morons...
