Sign of the (old) times

There is a telephone exchange on Harestock Road, the gates always seem to be open and there is a van parked on the site but I have never seen any people.
In telecommunications a telephone exchange or telephone switch is a system of electronic components that connects telephone calls. This may be a central office, that means it is the physical building used to house inside plant equipment including telephone switches, which make telephone calls "work" in the sense of making connections and relaying the speech information.
I like the way the gate is ageing and by increasing the depth the whole word appears in focus.
