Every cloud...

Having driven back from Edinburgh in the morning, my brother dropped me off straight at the hospital where we were greeted by social services. Because my father is in his final days, we were told that arrangements must be made for an accelerated discharge.

Apparently there are three choices;
1) Return home
2) Move to a hospice
3) Stay in hospital

Although we'd love to have the bump's granddad back home, there's just no way we could cope with the 24 hour care and attention he would need. He's just too poorly :(
