Extended

The Grand Tour de Christmas continued today with a trip out to visit some of the extended family - brother & sister in law, cousins in law and assorted nephews and first cousins in law once removed. 

This has been a tradition for over 2 decades now as I remember... and is as much about the extended family, as it is about the extended christmas, as we always keep this part of the family's present exchanging until we meet up on boxing day. 

Always a fun day, the kids do their 'kids go wild' thing, and the adults do their 'we can survive the kids going wild thing by means of the eating, drinking, and being merry' thing. Great stuff :)

In honour of last years boxing day daily photo of a chocolate fountain in front of some bokelicious christmas tree lights, and the fact that I've spent most of this year avoiding chocolate, I'm putting up virtually an identical photo... minus the chocolate fountain. How things change in one year. (How's that for narrative?)
