Christmas Myths

Here is the whisky put out for Santa, and the carrot for Rudolph, at the bottom of our chimney. Kids are in bed and asleep, presents are wrapped, all set for a nice time. Elder doesn't believe but is willing to go along with it. Younger hasn't even thought to question it.

But, one of my daughters old teachers has got into the papers yesterday for answering a child (a nine year old, five years in to primary school) truthfully when asked to confirm that there ain't no sanity claus (slow news day madness). I do hope that Mrs Hopkins, a good and solid teacher is having a decent Christmas, not ruined by our local rag. The sooner it and it's parent go bust the better. What was she supposed to say? And what parent thought it worth a) complaining and b) taking it to the local paper. I hope the tenner they got for the story chokes them.
