Coble Landing Gull

Had a trip to Filey today. Thank goodness it was reasonably sheltered from the wind. As we walked down to the beach I spotted this young gull perched on an upturned boat. Our walk coincided with high tide so we walked only a short distance on the beach before working our way up to the Country Park.

Then a quick turn around to watch Matthew play in the annual Highlanders (Malton) and Lowlanders (Norton) rugby match. Fortunately Matthew's Highlanders team was victorious. The extra is of Matthew.....more muddy washing!
