Blowing Away Boxing Day Cobwebs

A really chilled out morning, playing with duplo and toot toot drivers and trying to make room for all the new toys. After the obligatory turkey sandwiches we decided to get out for a walk. We headed to Royden Park and Joe made a beeline to the miniature train. He was convinced that it wouldn't be open but wanted to show me where it was. Luckily it was open but there was no other people about so the volunteers let Joe sit in the drivers seat. He was way more excited than Alf. We had a few goes on the train but Alf was a bit bewildered. A little walk around the park did me the world of good and I felt much better. Another turkey dinner and Alf is now in bed so time to crack open the prosecco.
