Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

A beautiful, bright day in Yorkshire despite icy cold, gale force winds, so what better way to spend Boxing Day than in the middle of nature. It was a pleasure to walk in the idyllic surroundings of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park taking in the river area, the open fields and the woodland. The wind was incredibly strong, particularly on the high, exposed areas of fields - we were really had to battle to stay upright at one point! 

My favourite sculptures came from Niki de Saint Phalle who had a few large, colourful pieces in a mosaic style. They were striking and look particularly so in the sunshine. :-)
