Meet Zeus
Leo had a lovely little pug for Christmas. We had a friend to visit so we all pitched in and assembled him - doesn't he look sad! Leo in typical boy fashion decided to attach a bone to its nether regions in a very rude fashion and found that totally hysterical!
He also took us all on at Bird Bingo and was far too good at it! The cards are lovely and I am sure I will blip them sometime soon.
It was Mum's birthday and we had our usual cold meat and pickles lunch - and she enjoyed that more than Christmas dinner as she was feeling under the weather. I also felt far more human today, after collapsing into bed after lunch yesterday as the lurgy brought on a migraine. Blinking bugs!
We tried out our xylophone crackers and were just as bad at those as we are with the handbells. Practice definitely doesn't help either.
Leo entertained us with charades. Can't believe we have never got him to play it before. He was very enthusiastic, if somewhat convoluted in his demonstrations. My favourite bit was when he mimed eating for what turned out later to be the song Waterloo. In a Leo land that made perfect sense as we sometime eat out at the Waterloo Cross! A extreme example of sideways thinking.
My poor Fitbit will be wondering what is happening as I haven't got any steps in for the past few days. Ian had a Fitbit for Christmas so once I have seen this bug off, we can get some serious stepping in.
