Pickle

We had our family Christmas today. It was such a lovely, quiet day. After an awful lot of guests for the last 10 days it was just what we needed. The children decided they wanted a 'proper ' Christmas lunch (not pizzas like last year). We were so excited to find broccoli! (I do miss sprouts and parsnips though!) I think the present which got the biggest whoops of excitement was the Branston Pickle which I'd brought over from England!
