Jack & me

Boxing Day is my Christmas Day this year with the added bonus of football fixtures. 
United won, I have beer and chocolate, I have Wall-E on the tv. 
Just Jack for company but only 18 days until K arrives.

Gay hero first and foremost. People might forget the battles we fought for equality in law but I don't forget that it was only in the 1990s I was queer-bashed twice, and spat at on public transport, and endured verbal abuse on Pride Marches.


The importance of gay role-models to people coming to terms with their own sexuality in a hostile world should never be underestimated.
