Gently down the stream

Painter's sky

I can't pretend I did much in the way of exercise today.  That traditional Boxing Day walk will have to wait for another time.  In fact the order of the day was a little light tidying and a lot of flopping around drinking coffee.

However, I did toddle down the road all of, ahem, 300 metres to where new houses are being built.  The upright scaffolding poles, I thought, set off the sunset.  And I loved the way the clouds high up were being pulled by the wind, making it look like a painter using a broad brush had finished the sky in a bit too much of a hurry.

Have a good Boxing Day evening, lovely peeps  xx
