Holly's star

Holly dog's star shines on.  A friend made this pottery star decoration for Holly, and one for each of us too, about ten years ago.  They go up on our tree every year and this afternoon the little star was just catching the last of the sun's rays.

The extra is one of Barty relaxing.  He is doing very well and suffered his twice weekly shampoo this morning.  Once he is wet and lathered up, we have to leave the shampoo on for ten minutes, so he just stands in the bath so patiently - poor chap.  He is still eating for England and is a lot calmer, not always needing to get up and follow us from room to room which is a good sign.  :)
