Christmas Eve at the Pueblo

Taos Pueblo invites the public to come for the annual Christmas Eve procession of the virgin around the pueblo, complete with gunfire and drumming and then enormous bonfires all around.  The Taos pueblo has been continually inhabited for 1000 years, and is a sacred space.  Extra photos show the lighting of one of the large bonfires and holding up a Standing Rock sign from the top, to the cheers of the crowd.
