Fierce Mistle Thrush

This Mistle Thrush has been a regular visitor to our garden recently. It has been defending the holly tree at the front of the house against allcomers and stuffing itself on the berries (see extra photo). I've only ever seen them at a distance before - they are impressive, powerful birds close up (even through a dirty window!). I hope it stays around for a while.
