And much later, a trip up to Wardie Parish Church for the watchnight service - a proper one - none of that weird nonsense we got elsewhere last year. Great singing to all the favourite carols, readings of the nativity story and a full congregation of all ages. All it really needed for a 10/10 review was some mince pies and a drink. So it was home for that, obvs, and it was Christmas Day!
