Kampot Crimbo

This year has felt like a marathon; a marathon of diverse but exhausting experiences. The final slog involved hotfooting it to Kampot to have Christmas Day with Ruby and Megan.

I was in shell-shocked mode after finishing work. We did nothing traditional: we sat by the river eating fried fish and oranges with no Christmas crackers or Yule logs in sight. In the evening we caught a tuk-tuk to town and had a drink overlooking the river at the renovated former fish market followed by a Portuguese feast. We talked for hours about our future hopes for 2017.
