Merry Christmas!
Well, the day came and is almost over! A selection of shots from the day... the extra is of the Church service - 9am for 30 minutes - most unusual for us, but it was good to go as we were recognised and even handed a greeting card on arrival from a family we'd only met in the summer!
G cooked a perfect lunch and we even sat down to eat at our normal lunch time! All done early afternoon, and I'm afraid I couldn't resist a small nap during the afternoon!
Glad it has been mild and it hasn't rained. Watched a lot of TV in the evening and *tried* to catch up with friends and family around the world through various social media... :)
Hope you're had a really blessed day!
We did get to sing my favourite carol at the service... "O Little Town of Bethlehem". The line, "The hopes and fears of all the years, are met in Thee tonight" still intrigues.
