Highland Cattle

Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, and so as not to upset anyone, this will be my last Sunday bike ride of 2016. As I am meeting friends for lunch, it isn't a long ride. I head out through Auchendinny, Howgate and Leadburn to Romannobridge.

At Bogsbank, I stop to take a photo of the Highland cattle.

I come back through West Linton. I find the moor road closed because of roadworks. However, I am informed by a workman guarding the road closure, it is just a narrow trench, and I can step over. Thankfully that means not having to cycle along the A702.

Wind assited ride back home, time for a shower before dashing out to the Three Birds in Bruntsfield for a lovely lunch with friends.
