Holiday Mantel

This isn't my usual type of photo, but seemed appropriate for Christmas Day.  We spent the morning at my sister's "new" house.  She and her husband have been remodeling a home built in the early 1980's.  He is a builder by trade, so they are doing all of the work themselves.  This used to be a dingy brick fireplace, with no mantel.  As you can see, they have transformed it with a style appropriate for a beach home.  To top it off, my sister has wonderful taste in decorating and added her special holiday touches.  Happy Holidays!
