Franzosischer Dom

This is a picture of quite a nice looking church a short walk away from Checkpoint Charlie. Checkpoint Charlie is the point in which Berliners, and anyone else for that matter, passed between East and West Berlin when the wall was still standing.

I have chosen this picture because everywhere in Berlin seems to be under-construction or renovation at the moment and this is one of the few pictures that doesn't have cranes, pipes, scaffolding or bollards in it. Didn't they know I was coming?!
