Milestones

Today marks many milestones for me...it's the last day of Gramma Camp after a wonderful loving summer with my daughter's two children...it's the last day that Sanibel will ever be four years old (and Dad is emotional, too)...and it's the last day I will be her caretaker as she gets ready to go to school.

I retired so that I could be more prominent in Belle's life, and it is bittersweet as I see how she has grown into a little girl who is more and more independent.
I guess that means I've done my job...but it also makes me a little sad.
