Theme building

In the center of LAX, sits the Theme Building. Over the decades, it's become surrounded and obscured by construction of multistory parking buildings and the upper level roadway (for departing passengers). So unless you pass right next to it, you'd hardly notice it.

And what you do notice, when you're next to it, is how the graceful arches contrast with the grubby vegetation around its lattice wall.
